We did the Chichen Itza tour with a stop in Valladolid. This was a fantastic experience. Josh (our tour guide) and Omar (our driver) made it a great experience. Josh was super knowledgeable and taught us so much about the cultural and historical aspects of the region. He also took pictures of us Beating the crowds made this so much more manageable. We were able to get photos with practically no one around. No fighting for spots. The experience included some drinks and snacks as well as a stop for breakfast and lunch in Valladolid. Definitely worth the extra for us to book private but I imagine this would still be awesome without spending the extra of you don't mind sharing a ride with others.

Our private tour of the Punta Laguna Nature Reserve and Coba ruins for my birthday was a perfect experience. Juan was very personable and professional and personally tailored the experience to suit the needs and interests of our group. Our Mayan guide to the reserve helped us spot both Howler and Spider monkeys in the wild, which was a magical experience for the animal lovers in the group! We had a blast with thr adventurous aspects of the tour, and learned so much at thr Coba ruins. Juan was kind enough to offer to snap plenty of shots of the group in action, which I will treasure forever. The food was good and the drinks cold and plentiful! Will recommend Juan and AA to everyone heading to the region any chance I get. Much thanks to the team for providing a quality product. You made our trip!

We booked two tours through Absolute Adventure Mexico and had an amazing time on each! The first tour was the Chichen Itza Ruins and Swim in a Cenote tour. Our tour guide Alex was great, very informative and fun. The second tour was Snorkeling in 3 Cenotes with tour guide Cris. Cris was friendly and ensured we had a great time in each cenote. Our driver was Omar for each tour, Omar did a great job getting us around Mexico, the van was roomy and comfortable. Overall, the company was timely and professional, each stop was well planned, and the lunch stops were delicious. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to book a tour in the Tulum/Cancun area!

We had an incredible private excursion exploring the Tulum ruins and snorkeling in the Dos Ojos cenote. The experience was both educational and fascinating, made even better by our guide, Juan. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, sharing so much insight into Mayan history and the natural wonders of the area in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. We also appreciated how smoothly everything went, thanks to Juan and our driver, Kiki (I believe that’s what he was introduced as). They were perfectly coordinated - the van was always ready and waiting to pick us up when it was time to move on, which was a huge plus in the heat (definitely recommend starting the excursion as early in the morning as possible). Choosing the private tour over a shared group experience was absolutely worth it. We loved being able to move at our own pace, linger at spots that interested us, and never feel rushed. It made the whole day feel more relaxed and personalized. Highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a more intimate and enriching way to explore the Riviera Maya!

Great time! Excellent excursion. Arturo was a great tour guide! Loved it! My only recommendation would be to put a mat outside the van so when you change your shoes and clothes you do not have to stand on sand.

2 private tours with Christina and Rodrigo...wonderful! We learned so much about the Mayan people and their history with our tours of both the Tulum Ruins and the city of Chichen Itza! Cristina was our guide and her passion, respect and knowledge of the environment, the history and the people of the Yucatan were inspirational. We loved learning about the network of cenotes and their geological and cultural significance as well. We had a lovely snorkeling tour of Taak Bi Ha with a delightful lunch after. Many thanks to Rodrigo, our driver, who made sure we were comfortable thru-out our travels. I would not hesitate to book with this tour company again!

Chichen Itza Ruins and Valladolid ! We did the Chichen Itza and Valladolid tour. Our tour guide was Cristina and our driver was Rodri and they were both very accommodating and kind! Had an assortment of drinks for us as soon as we got in the van (sodas, juice & water) and then later got us some chips as well. As we walked around Chichen Itza Cristina was so knowledgeable teaching us all about its history. Not only was it incredible to see but we were able to appreciate it so much more with all the information we were given. We ended the tour in a cute town called Valladolid which was the perfect way to end the tour! Will be doing another tour with them later this week!

We had a spectacular time with Arturo this past weekend in Tulum. And highly recommend booking a private tour with the team here. From the moment we were picked up the ruin, cenote and lunch, we were so well taken care of. Arturo was incredible knowledgeable, from the history of the Mayan ruins to the animals and geology of the area, and then exploring the cenote. 10/10 and can’t wait to book again!

Fabulous family day! Our tour with our guide Alex and driver Ivan was perfect for our family of five (2 adults and 3 older teens/college age kids). Alex is so knowledgeable and passionate about the Mayan culture and history...and his informal style meant that even my college kid who just finished his exams was engaged and interested. Driver Ivan navigated the dirt roads back to the cenote and lunch with ease. And swimming/snorkelling with the turtles was amazing - like a window into a different world. One of our kids has a physical disability which was managed by our guides with grace and discretion. Overall, this experience exceeded my expectations, and I recommend Alex, Ivan and Absolute Adventure without reservation.

Great excursion. Alex and Rodrigo took us to Tulum and a cenote, Alex was a great guide with a lot of information about the ruins and the history of the Maya and Mexico. We didn?t have to worry about anything Alex got all the wrist bands ready where we didn?t have to do any planning just walked straight into our tour sites. Would recommend to anyone looking for an excursion.

Great tour of Tulum archaeological site Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She did a great job with the local history and other information not available on the signage. We had a bit of a mix up as to which hotel was the pickup point, but they squared it away quickly. She was also able to help identify the safe shops.

Myself & my wife had the pleasure of taking 2 tours recently with Absolute Adventure. The first tour was the Tulum Ruins and 1 cenote with Juan, who was an excellent guide, and our driver was also super. The second tour was the 2 cenote tour with Christina & driver Kike, who were both terrific. Both tours were excellent. We would highly recommend.

Tulum Express Tour Josh was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and polite. The ride from Playa del Carmen was about 1 hour and very smooth. They were very prompt. We took the suggestion and left the resort at 7am, which was great. We got in and out before the majority of people showed up so it was almost empty when we walked through the park. The shops at the end are very touristy, you may find a few unique blankets and things. Josh ?warned? us in advance that they people will want to take a picture with you and they charge $10-15 USD. It was neat to walk through, but didn?t buy anything there. 10/10 would recommend using Absolute Adventures for a private tour!

Highly recommended! Our tour was fabulous! Joshua and Rodrigo were a great pair. The ride to and from our resort was comfortable and they provided water and soft drinks. Joshua really shined within the park- fabulous information from before we entered to the entire path through the park. He was great at stopping in shaded areas and giving us wonderful history data and pictures to supplement the story! I have mobility challenges and Joshua matched my pace- and did a great job interacting with/ answering questions etc. We can?t recommend this option enough in the heat! We got through before the heat of the day and did not see too many people before we were halfway through the tour! Well done Absolute Adventure!

We had Josh as our guide and Kike as our driver, they are absolute pros and took care of us at every step of the tour! They picked us up early and we are basically the first group that got in before others and had a beautiful view of the Chichen Itza before other groups and vendors started to crowd the space (they were starting to crowd the space just as we were leaving). We really felt cared for since they gave us plenty of chances to use washroom/stretch our legs when they're driving and we still got plenty of time to enjoy all the attractions. Josh was very knowledgable about the Mayan culture and explained what every part of the structures/symbols meant. Which is something we definitely wouldn't have found out if we didn't go on a tour with him. We also went to Cenote Samula that was really nice with crystal clear water, but the best part is we basically had the cenote all to ourselves! They definitely know where to go to avoid the crowd and the cenote was beautiful. (The photos I had definitely don't do it justice because I was talking them in a waterproof pouch which distorted the image) Lunch at Valladolid was wonderful too, and they know a gelato place that I really liked with ube ice cream!
