What an amazing tour! Our private van was comfy and the AC was running! (So grateful). We arrived early and it felt like we were alone to start. Our tour guide was amazing, he had so much history and knowledge and could answer any question in our heads. We learned so much and it really brought the ruins to life. I highly recommend this company and will use again.

Excellent experience touring the Tulum archaeological site with Cristina as our guide! My group of friends booked a private tour and were picked up on time from our hotel by Cristina and Omar, who drove us to the site in a comfortable minibus stoked with cold water. Cristina is a very personable and informative guide who gave us lots of insight into Maya cosmology, architecture, culture and postclassic history (as a Maya archaeologist I can vouch!) she even had an iPad to show visual aids at our stopping points! We paused for photos and she was very patient when we got distracted by the iguanas 😉 Wonderful, efficient and fun tour of the ruins, highly recommended!!!

Tulum Sights and Two Cenotes We had a great time with Christina and Jeremy! Saw the Tulum architectural sites. Christina was a great guide. She knew so much about the plants snd trees. She also did a great job teaching our group about the ruins. We then went to Dos Ojos and Taak bi Ha cenotes. Really amazing. Very different cenotes. Both beautiful. Again Christina was a great guide. Showing us all around the cenotes and teaching us about how they were formed. Great experience. Recommend Absolute, Christina and Jeremy to anyone looking for a private tour

Had a perfect day from start to finish! I would give double stars if I could! We picked two spots in Akumul swam with the turtles they gave us the option to switch because of the Sargassum/Seaweed, it didn’t bother us though so we went and had a wonderful time. We saw 4 turtles, one huge turtle a baby and 2 normal sized turtles. Then we went probably one of the prettiest unique places I’ve ever seen, at the Yalku lagoon, our guide joined us there and he was so kind and informative. We then went to lunch in Akumal and had some delicious taco’s, and nacho chips. I definitely recommend, booking with Absolute Adventures Mexico one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on.

What an incredible experience!!! We spent an entire day with our extremely knowledgeable tour guide Joshua (and our amazing driver Kike). Joshua did an incredible job of explaining and sharing his knowledge of Chichén Itzá and the Mayans. There were plenty of options on the tour itself (like touring the cool little center of Valladolid, something we weren’t expecting). We definitely felt like we were getting a real deal experience without any extra worries. We loved the tour so much we booked a second tour to visit Punta Laguna on a different day. We were guided by the amazing Alex! Again it was clear that he was very knowledgeable of the area and its culture. By the end of both tours it felt like we were hanging out with good friends as we shared a delicious meal together. Absolute Adventure is a must the next time we come, especially since they offer so much! Thank you so much Josh, Alex, and Kike!!!

This tour was one of the best we’ve done in Mexico. Having a private tours offers so many benefits especially when traveling with younger children (4 years old.) You have the ability to do more or less depending on how it’s going. They stop for restroom breaks, etc. We even wanted a specific souvenir and our tour guide, Arturo, made sure we got it. He helped guide us when we were bargaining with vendors and even took us to a Cenote that was incredibly peaceful- no crowds. Shortly after we left the crowds descended and we were so grateful to get to experience it away from everyone else. Lunch was excellent as well! Our driver was superb. We would book a tour with this company and Arturo any time and you should too.

Josh and Max were wonderful! It was a great day and the kids loved it! As a family of 5 (kids ranging from 9-13), the private tour of Tulum ruins, cenote and snorkeling was a perfect fit. Our guides were on time, very informative and helpful. The pace of the tour was flexible which was great for our family so we did not feel rushed or have to stay longer than the kids were interested. Definitely would recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico and request Joshua and Max!

Excellent tour and glimpse into Mayan history. This tour was excellent!! Alex and Omar were the best and made it such a special experience for my family. Our group of 5 adults and 4 children did the Coba and Cenote tour with Juan of Absolute Adventure. It was easily the highlight of an amazing trip. They were very prompt, professional, and personable. Juan checked with us along each step if we needed bathrooms, if we wanted to stay longer at one place, etc. We learned tons while having fun. It truly felt like having a local buddy take you around to the sites. The lunch was also a huge hit with our group, only wish we had bought more hot sauce! Highly recommend Absolute Adventure if you're staying in the Cancun/PDC area.

Outstanding tour with knowledgeable guides - perfect for all ages! We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our guides Rodri and Cris. Our group included a 6-year-old and grandmother, and both guides went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt included and had an amazing time. Cris was incredibly knowledgeable about Maya history and culture, while also being an expert on cenotes and their geological origins. The combination of cultural insights and natural history made the tour both educational and fascinating. Our visit to Pet Cemetery was truly breathtaking - an unforgettable experience that we?ll treasure forever. I highly recommend this tour company and we?re already planning to book with them again on our next visit to the region. The guides? expertise, enthusiasm, and ability to cater to different age groups made this one of the highlights of our trip!

Great tour for our family of 12?8 adults, 2 4 year olds and 2 babies. Arturo our guide made sure everyone had a good time. Adults rode bikes at Coba except we had three rickshaws for the kids and adults with them. Beautiful ride on the trails through the jungle. Lots of shade. He provided good information and tailored it so the older kids learned a lot. Then we had lunch at Juanita?s and went to a beautiful open cenote. Great day. Not cheap but worth it.

Great tour and awesome lunch Our guide Arturo took us to Tulum. One of the prettiest Mayan ruins I have seen. The we went swimming in a lagoon and snorkeling in a cenote. The little kids had a great time as did the adults. Lunch at La Barracuda was delicious.

Amazing tour with Cristina! Excellent value and the tour was a perfect length of time (2-3 excursion). Omar and Cristina came to pick us up promptly in the morning. Omar was a safe and smooth driver. The van was well air conditioned and they provided us with a cooler with a variety do beverages including water, soda, and juice. Cristina led us around the ruins and patiently and knowledgeably answered all of our questions. She even used an Ipad to present additional visuals to explain Mayan mythology as well as the architectural magnificence during the summer solstice and spring equinox. Highly recommend and look forward to returning to the Yucatan! I hope one day to take more tours of sites like Coba with Cristina and Omar.

Cristina led us around the ruins and patiently and knowledgeably answered all of our questions. Highly recommend and look forward to returning to the Yucatan! I hope one day to take more tours of sites like Coba with Cristina and Omar.

Cristina was so informative! The best bang for your buck for the Tulum ruins. Went with a group of 8 women, which included one archeologist and it was great seeing her nerd out with all her questions. Cristina was very knowledgeable and also patient for those of us more picture-taking-focused. Definitely wear a hat and lots of sunscreen (or bring your own umbrella and/or fan), as the highlights/attractions in the ruins don?t have too much shade. Drinks (waters/sodas) were available in an ice cooler in the van, which was much appreciated. Bring cash if you wanted to buy souvenirs on site (some places accept card)

Best private tour We had an amazing trip today with our guide Joshua, and driver Ivan. Communication with the company was rapid, and they showed up right on time with a big clean van, and a cooler full of cold drinks. The day was fantastic, with an excellent tour of the Tulum ruins with Joshua, and a wonderful visit to two cenotes and then a delicious lunch. Joshua was a great host, giving lots of information and taking photos along the way, and Ivan was a very careful and friendly driver. We would 100% use this company again.

We had a wonderful tour last week. We were six adults, including one person using a wheelchair. Our tour included Chichen Itza and Valladolid. Joshua was very knowledgable and patient with us. Max was a great driver, especially during the rain storm. The lunch was of a much higher quality than expected.

Juan was so fun, knowledgeable, and even helped us in planning another upcoming trip we have to another country—and Enrique kept the van cool and everyone safe on the bumpy roads near the cenotes. The cenotes and ruins were both everything we hoped they would be and were so thankful for this experience. Christina was an absolute joy of a tour guide for Chichén Itzá. Informative & great conversation about archeological topics as well as Mexican culture in general. Highly recommend. Rodrigo was our driver and also was fantastic. There are a lot of tour companies to pick from in Cancun, don’t look anywhere else but here.

Well worth the extra cost. Our tour guide Alex and our driver Rodrigo were amazing. Picked us up at our Cancun hotel promptly at 6AM. We arrived at Chichen Itza 15 minutes before opening, so we were one of the first people through the gate. We were able to take our family photos without the annoyance of waiting in line or having strangers in the background of our pictures. The cenote was amazing. We had the place to ourselves so family photos were only of our family without strangers lurking in the background. Lunch at Valladolid was authentic and ala carte(not a buffet). I cannot stress the benefits of a private tour enough. We were back at our hotel before 6PM. I've always believed that time is worth more than money and this tour was time well spent without the inconvenience of having to adjust to strangers' idiosyncrasies or make multiple unnecessary stops to drop off/pick up other tour patrons. This was, hands down, the best part of our Cancun trip.

This tour was amazing! Our driver Enrique and guide Cristina were fabulous. We were picked up at our hotel, went to Coba, visited 2 cenotes, and went to lunch at an authentic restaurant! We were provided with plenty to drink, entrance fees were included, bikes were included at Coba, even lunch was included! We had two 15 year olds along and they loved this adventure. If you are thinking about this tour stop thinking and BOOK it! It was AWESOME!

Our driver and guide Cristina were amazing! We enjoyed our tour so much! The price we paid included everything, drinks, admission to Coba and the Cenotes , even our bikes at Coba. Our tour also included an authentic Mexican lunch. We paid for our drinks at lunch. My children, both 15 loved everything! This was a great private tour and worth the price!
