The Best
This tour was one of the best we’ve done in Mexico. Having a private tours offers so many benefits especially when traveling with younger children (4 years old.) You have the ability to do more or less depending on how it’s going. They stop for restroom breaks, etc. We even wanted a specific souvenir and our tour guide, Arturo, made sure we got it. He helped guide us when we were bargaining with vendors and even took us to a Cenote that was incredibly peaceful- no crowds. Shortly after we left the crowds descended and we were so grateful to get to experience it away from everyone else. Lunch was excellent as well! Our driver was superb. We would book a tour with this company and Arturo any time and you should too. -

Unforgettable Experience with the Best Guide in Cancún! Our trip to Cancún wouldn’t have been the same without our incredible tour guide, Cristina! Rodrigo ur driver, was great. Christina was an absolute joy of a tour guide for Chichén Itzá. Informative & great conversation about archeological topics as well as Mexican culture in general. Highly recommend. Rodrigo was our driver and also was fantastic. There are a lot of tour companies to pick from in Cancun, don’t look anywhere else but here.

Well worth the extra cost. Our tour guide Alex and our driver Rodrigo were amazing. Picked us up at our Cancun hotel promptly at 6AM. We arrived at Chichen Itza 15 minutes before opening, so we were one of the first people through the gate. We were able to take our family photos without the annoyance of waiting in line or having strangers in the background of our pictures. The cenote was amazing. We had the place to ourselves so family photos were only of our family without strangers lurking in the background. Lunch at Valladolid was authentic and ala carte(not a buffet). I cannot stress the benefits of a private tour enough. We were back at our hotel before 6PM. I’ve always believed that time is worth more than money and this tour was time well spent without the inconvenience of having to adjust to strangers’ idiosyncrasies or make multiple unnecessary stops to drop off/pick up other tour patrons. This was, hands down, the best part of our Cancun trip.

This day trip was incredible! Arturo was a phenomenal guide. He was informative, shared his personal favorites along the tour, and explained each historical site at Chichen Itza. The cenote was magical and afterwards we had authentic food in the nearby town. It was the perfect day and we were transported safely. I would definitely recommend using this company for your next trip! Thank you so much!

We booked two tours through Absolute Adventure Mexico and had an amazing time on each! The first tour was the Chichen Itza Ruins and Swim in a Cenote tour. Our tour guide Alex was great, very informative and fun. The second tour was Snorkeling in 3 Cenotes with tour guide Cris. Cris was friendly and ensured we had a great time in each cenote. Our driver was Omar for each tour, Omar did a great job getting us around Mexico, the van was roomy and comfortable. Overall, the company was timely and professional, each stop was well planned, and the lunch stops were delicious. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to book a tour in the Tulum/Cancun area!

We had Josh as our guide and Kike as our driver, they are absolute pros and took care of us at every step of the tour!
They picked us up early and we are basically the first group that got in before others and had a beautiful view of the Chichen Itza before other groups and vendors started to crowd the space (they were starting to crowd the space just as we were leaving).
We really felt cared for since they gave us plenty of chances to use washroom/stretch our legs when they’re driving and we still got plenty of time to enjoy all the attractions.
Josh was very knowledgable about the Mayan culture and explained what every part of the structures/symbols meant. Which is something we definitely wouldn’t have found out if we didn’t go on a tour with him.
We also went to Cenote Samula that was really nice with crystal clear water, but the best part is we basically had the cenote all to ourselves! They definitely know where to go to avoid the crowd and the cenote was beautiful. (The photos I had definitely don’t do it justice because I was talking them in a waterproof pouch which distorted the image)
Lunch at Valladolid was wonderful too, and they know a gelato place that I really liked with ube ice cream! -

We had an INCREDIBLE experience on our Chichén Itzá, cenote and lunch private tour. Our guide Juan (JJ) was outstanding: so kind, funny, personable, and super knowledgeable. We asked so many questions throughout the tour and he was so great to talk to. Our driver Enrique was wonderful as well. We were a group of three women and felt totally safe the entire time. From start to finish, it was an absolutely wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone!

Our experience was beyond expectations! Enrique and Arturo were early and waiting for us at the hotel lobby when we got there. It was a long ride and they asked us numerous times if we needed a rest stop. Arturo was so helpful, patient, and informative at Chichen Itza and pointed out so many small details we wouldn’t have known otherwise. He did a good job of keeping us away from the crowds and was able to answer all of my random questions. We also got to choose which Cenote we wanted to go to. The meal at the restaurant may have been the best food of the week. The whole day was personalized to our needs from the time of pick up to how long we wanted to stay at each attraction. I would highly recommend Absolute Adventure for all your excursion needs.
