Just finished a great tour of Dos Ojos Cenote with Arturo as our guide & Carlo as our driver. Very attentive staff. They arrived on time for the pick up at our casa in Playacar. I am not super comfortable in deep water. Arturo was very patient, ensuring my equipment was fitted properly & I was good before starting out. It was so much fun!! The Mayan “restaurant” is an open air space in the jungle with a pool, tables & a bar with swings. Amazing, great food prepared on site. Truly a cultural emersion experience. I highly recommend Arturo & this tour!!

We had a private tour with Arturo as our guide and Ervin as our driver. Arturo was knowledgeable, warm and his English was excellent, a result of having lived in Colorado. When we got to Tulum, it was just opening, it turned out that we would have a private guide there as well, Manolik, who had a British-accented English and taught us a great deal about the Mayan civilization, their rituals, agriculture and their lives. There was a great deal of walking at Tulum, so wear comfortable walking shoes. We had on our bathing suits under our shorts and tops, which was ideal, since there was no changing room at the cenote.

We booked the snorkeling in cenotes trip online after suggestion by a friend. We had no expectations and the real experience made for an unforgettable surprise. We had no idea that it was gonna be an exclusive trip. Juan was our tour guide and his attention was fully with us throughout. After their pickup from the hotel, we travelled from Cancun for about 2 hours to reach the spot where Juan first took us to the Nicte Ha cenote(which was open) followed by Tak Be Ha(which was underground). We spent about 45 minutes in each of them having a surreal experience snorkling. The lunch provided was very good and authentic. Thanks to Juan for being very knowledgable and guiding us through the entire trip.

Our family private tour was awesome! Jaun was our guide and he was friendly, honest, knowledgeable and easy going. He was the best tour guide our family has ever had. Thank you for a great experience and for really making the private tour worth our time and money. Excellent service. Would work with the company again and again.

We took a private tour for 9 to the Coba ruins and a swim afterwards in the Cenote. We had a really exciting day. Our tour guide Juan and our driver Juan took great care of all of our needs, while introducing us to the fascinating Coba ruins and the Cenote. First, they picked us up at the hotel and shuttled us to Coba, where we met our Mayan guide (another Juan) who educated us about the site and Mayan culture. Then, we selected from the bikes onsite and rode out further into the Mayan city to see the biggest of the Mayan towers, which we climbed. Then back to the bus and off to the Cenote, where we ate lunch before changing into swimsuits and going into the cave for a swim. Finally, we headed to the beach to swim with the sea turtles. All in all, a fun and exciting day. A highlight of our trip to Riviera Maya!

Two years ago my husband and I visited Mexico and booked a last minute tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico. It was by far the best excursion trip we have ever booked on any vacation - ever. We loved that our tour was private, just us, rather than a busload of resort guests. Every detail was well thought out and we enjoyed every minute.

Can’t say enough about Absolute Adventures! They answered my emails promptly in my booking phase and while we were in Cancun. I’m always leery about booking tours like this over the internet but thankfully reviews such as this left me confident that this company was legit.

Our coba tour with Absolute was again so amazing (we booked three tours with them this being our second) our hotel is in Puerto Morelos so it is about 2 hours from Coba. Our tour guide Claire and driver met us on time at 6 am, the drive in the van was comfortable as Claire gave us some insight on the culture of the area. When arrived at Coba Claire too care of all the details; from water / drinks, entry fees, to renting bicycles (having someone peddle while you sat was an otion too), to information on the history plus showing us sites we would have otherwise missed as they were hidden in the deep forest. Coba does not have plaques explaining what you are seeing so having an experienced guide is a must. Claire speaks french, English and Spanish. When we left Coba we were happy for the early start as the crowds were crazy. The cenote the driver took us too was off the beaten path, once again Absolute showed their attention to detail allowing us to swim / snorkel in a very quiet area leaving crowds behind. Claire our guide provided us with wet suites and life jackets (we brought our own snorkels but she will provide everything needed). I could go on and on everything was perfect - I can hardly wait for our next adventure with Absolute on Tuesday to see Tulum.

This was so much fun. Our guide Juan was fantastic, personable and very knowledgeable. I have a 16, 14, and 10 year old, who all loved the day. Said it was the best activity of our time in Mexico. Highly recommend this tour! Absolute adventure was professional, and would book another tour with them in a heartbeat.

Overall – this tour is ideal for first-timers like us who are not very good with large group tours. It hits the highlights of 2 sites and was catered to our level of interest and schedule. The photos included in the tour was a nice touch. This tour was just right and we enjoyed it a lot!

We visited Tulum, 2 cenotes and Akumal on our 1st tour with Absolute. Visiting Tulum in the morning is the "Absolute" way to go! No crowds! Snorkeling at the 2 cenotes were not crowded and both were amazing with different personalities! The cavernous cave was a spectacular experience. Swimming/snorkeling with the turtles at Akumal was surreal! And, yes, we encountered many sea turtles! On our 2nd day with Absolute Adventure we boated out to the MesoAmerican reef from Puerto Morelos to snorkel! Perfect excursion, lots of fish and coral formations! All the people and guides, affiliated with this organization is top notch! The guides were knowledgeable, personable and proved to make our choice of using Absolute Adventure an A1 choice! Great Hosts! Lunches were tasty and refreshments plentiful! Thanks, Claire and Arturo!

We took a private tour to Tulum and Coba with Absolute. Juan, our guide, was awesome! I've been on several tours around the globe and can't imagine a more friendly and engaged tour guide. He was on time and went above and beyond every step of the way. He even stopped to buy my girlfriend a birthday ice cream! The sites were amazing too. We beat the rush at Tulum, nearly had the place to ourselves. Coba was great as well, especially the lunch spot! Unexpectedly, Juan took a ton of pictures throughout the tour for us and sent them over via email a few days later. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico, especially if you get Juan as your guide!

Ease of booking online, prompt replies and extremely informative, we were picked up from our hotel, and enjoyed two private trips with these guys, Coba and Punta Laguna where we were lucky enough to see Spider Monkeys and Howler Monkeys we zip lined over the lake, and the brave among us were lowered by rope into a cenote for a gentle swim, before the strenuous climb up a rope ladder! Fantastic fun. We throughly enjoyed a trip out to Rio Lagartos with a entertaining captain Chino! Witnessed all sort of wildlife and of course the fabulous Flamingos. And not forgetting our Driver who gave us enough confidence in his driving for us to have a snooze!

We had an absolutely amazing adventure from start to finish with our private tour to Chichen Itza, swimming in a cenote and lunch and walking around Vallodolid! Claire was an incredible guide- She gave us so much info and patiently let us explore and ask questions about everything that we saw. They were punctual and friendly and we really enjoyed the 12 hours of the tour. I had a few questions before I booked and Claire answered them quickly. She was good about reaching out prior to the tour and was very easy to communicate with. The arrival at one minute until opening was perfectly timed so that we could get the best pictures of Chichen Itza and explore before it was too hot. She suggested the pick up time from our hotel so that we could get this accomplished and the day went perfectly. We almost had the cenote to ourselves and she took awesome pictures of our whole family. The lunch was delicious and it was great to be in authentic Mexican culture. We had our three children with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. We will absolutely use this company again on our future visits to explore other ruins, cenotes, and animal adventures. We have already recommended this to a few people and will continue to tell people about our excursion! Thank you for a fabulous day!

Booked this for my honeymoon. Juan was our guide for this, did xplorer park the day before for reference so we were pretty tired. Juan went at our own pace as we were slow to move along. The 1st stop was to the ruins which are quite a scene if you have never seen anything like this before it’s worth a look. There is a bit of a walk so wear comfortable shoes. They also provided refreshments immediately. After the ruins we stopped at the shops so if you forgot something you can get it there and save yourself a cab ride and fare beforehand. After the ruins we went to the cave cenote( I mentioned earlier I went to xplorer ) this by far was head and shoulders above anything I saw the day before. Water was refreshing and clean snorkeling gear was provided for use. We wrapped up the trip on my own schedule as he provided my and my new wife some alone time in the cave. Once we completed this we went to a nearby restaurant. The food was great and the best tacos I’ve had in Mexico so far. We took tons of photos and rode back comfortably. This is worth the money and exclusivity compared to the larger groups. If you value time this is a no brainer.

We had a difficult group with 2 toddlers, a 5 year old, a 9 year old and a 12 year old. The 2 year olds freaked out at Yal-Ku and were miserable. Our tour guide Juan was crazy helpful with my kids and even helped tow everyone back to shore when my kids couldn't swim anymore. The lunch in the jungle was absolutely amazing and we crazy picky about food. It was one of the best meals we had while in Mexico and the service was great as well. Overall we had a fantastic day and Juan's help and flexibility with my toddlers was invaluable.
