This trip was one for the books! Fell in love with the cenotes (and with our super cute tour guide Arturo). He was really knowledgeable and a truly amazing guide who made our trip ten times better. We will definitely be going back.

In the summer of 2014 for my youngest daughter graduation vacation at Barcelo Colonial and Tropical, my self and oldest daughter Ana _Maria we went to visit the ruins of the faimos Tulum.

They where so amazing, not to mention very professional , safety was mandatory, incredibly curtesy.... having said that, ...... all of the business related stuff lol our guide was so knowledgeable and funny and personable and silly and great he was for the most part our first real contact with Mexico. He was on top of it from beginning to end the best thing I can say is we will use them again and

We did the private Tulum and Cenote swim tour (with the Muyil ruins added on) with Absolute Adventures Mexico on 28 June. The cenote that we visited was Nicte Ha and the addition of Muyil ruins was worth it as this was a less visited site and offered a slightly different experience to Tulum.

The entire experience was wonderful! Not only was the staff extremely accommodating helping me fix my dates prior to arrival but the guides were amazing! They answered all of our questions about our excursion! The tour was beautiful and I felt completely comfortable during our visit! The next time we visit Mexico I will definitely book are excursion through Absolute Adventure Mexico!!

I can not say enough good things about this company and experience. Our private tour guide for this trip was Juan and he was so friendly and personable! We made it to Tulum before the crowds hit, which was so nice-to experience the beauty of this place without a lot of extra bodies in the way for pictures! It rained on us while we were at Tulum, but this did not deter from it's beauty! Just breathtaking every where you look! Straight after Tulum we went to snorkel with the sea turtles. Even though the water was murkier from the recent rain, we still saw several turtles, squid, and a sting ray! We then had a very delicious lunch and straight on to a site that had two different cenotes. One was lush and green and had very pretty water lilies and fish and the other was more of a cave where we could see people scuba diving. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of this excursion and having a private guide helping to avoid the crowds was worth every penny!

Took a private tour out to Chichen Itza with Arturo as our guide. First of all, Arturo was a top notch guide. Very knowledgeable, personable and flexible to any of our needs.

From the time we booked to the time we were dropped back off at our resort, nothing but amazement came our way. Claire was amazing with our booking process from the states about a month before our trip and payment process went smoothly using paypal. She always answered every email and question in a timely manner. The customer service is outstanding.... Now on to the adventure. Let me start by saying this was my wife and I's first time to Mexico and the first time ever booking a private guided tour. We chose this option after researching the horror of big group tours and how ripped off you feel at the end. So to no surprise to us Absolute gave us just what we wanted and beyond. The best money I spent in Mexico besides my resort. Miguel was our guide for the day. He is new to the company but It felt like he had been doing this for years. Our driver was Don Manuel (I hope I got that right). By the end of the day we felt like we were riding around Mexico with long lost friends. The adventures were amazing and that's all I'm going to say about that to be honest, only because I feel they were so personal to the wife and I that it would be hard for you to judge your experience off of ours. JUST DO IT you will not be let down. The real conversations we had all day were just as special as the ruins, ceneto, and turtles (which we saw at least 10).... This company is amazing and know how to do it and do it well. There is only one negative thing that happened, I forgot to get a group picture of all of us to remember for ever.

The tour of the Tulum and Cenote with a Mayan lunch was totally magnificent!! Our tour guide Jose Manuel was super cool!! They picked us up write in front of our hotel. They provided water, soda's and beer. I suggest wearing water shoes for the under cave tour. Best experience ever!! We will be back to share this experience with our children.

This was honestly the best experience and so so happy we decided to book a private tour. We unfortunately were there when it was raining but we still had the best time. Our tour guide Manuel was excellent friendly helpful and made this trip amazing. If you’re planning to book a tour go with absolute adventure. We had our van ready to pick us up went at our own pace st the Tulum Ruins and snorkeling also was amazing. After we had lunch in a Mayan restaurant in the jungle the food was amazing. I guess If i just can’t express enough how pleased I was with this. So I highly would book a tour with them again if I were ever to be back in Cancun! So I advice you to do the same too ! Thank you absolute and Manuel for an amazing experience I will never forget.

Our family had a wonderful time swimming with the sea turtles. Along with turtles we were also able to see squid and sting ray. The cenote we swam in was beautiful and not too crowded. After these activities we had a nice lunch. Arturo (our guide) was very helpful and informative. Thanks for a great day!

Our trip was amazing! We worried it was too good to be true having a private tour for the price. IT LIVED UP TO ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS!! Claire, the owner, was easy to work with via text to get this set up as we had trouble with the computer at our resort. Juan and the driver were on time and got us to Coba before the crowds. Juan was fun to be around. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk with about anything and everything. It felt like were were just touring around with a friend, not someone hired to take us. Snorkeling with the turtles and around the reef was beautiful. The equipment they brought was top notch, not worn out and abused like other places have been. Juan took over 50 photos which were sent to me via email and included in the price. Just amazing is all!! I am planning on using Absolute Adventures for all my future excursions to Playa del Carmen. Couldn't have asked for a better day!!

I'm so glad we booked this experience! They picked us up right on time at our hotel, offered us beverages, transported us everywhere, provided everything we needed, and gave us a great experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, and a joy to be around. Claire was very responsive and kind, and answered all our questions before we booked. The cenotes were probably the highlight of the trip for us! We were able to go at our own pace, and we went early in the morning so it wasn't too crowded. Overall this was a great experience, a great value, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful experience! Chris was an excellent guide. Would recommend this tour. Climbing the ruins was awesome. We stopped and ate at a small restaurant. The food was fantastic. Went to Pet Cemetery senote, which was breath taking. Thank you Chris!

This was our second tour with Arturo and he was incredibly Knowles able and friendly. We toured Coba both with Arturo and a private guide who made sure we understood what we were looking at and experiencing. We climbed to the top of one of the temples (which won’t be open much longer) and ride bikes around the ruins. The bike ride was easy and relaxing. We had lunch at a small local restaurant which was also just fantastic . To be clear, it wasn’t fancy or like a resort , but the food was remarkable, the place was clean, and it was nice to be in a quiet place away from tourists. The monkey reserve was a mild “best of adventure tour”. We hiked through the jungle with a local young man as our guide who called out to and showed us spider monkeys. We camped across a lake, rode a short zip line, and then my family rappeled down in to a cenote to swim (I was too heavy for the local boys who pull you back out to lift). I stayed up and chatted with them. I would recommend this tour for people who want to get away from the crowds and experience some of the “adventures” in a wilder setting.

We took two tours with this company and I can not say one bad thing about our experience . Arturo was friendly, knowledgeable, and by the end of our time together became a friend to our family.

Arturo was a great guide and provided some good knowledge of the area. Spending a little extra on the private trip was the way to go for these excursions. We had the Cenote to ourselves and our own guide for the ruins.

We had such a great time on this tour! Private tour is well worth the money! Our tour guide and bus driver stayed with us the entire trip. Took photos of the entire trip then emailed them to us. This tour package was excellent! Our tour guide was awesome as well! definitely recommend!

I booked the snorkeling tour in 2 cenotes with lunch for my husband and myself. This is our 3rd trip to Playa del Carmen but our first private tour and the best decision we made.Our guide was Juan and our driver was Ervin, they turned our holiday from great to amazing! We learnt so much more than we would on a larger group tour and had many laughs ( even down to the extra spanish lesson on the bus on the way to the cenotes ) Because the tours are planned to avoid the crowds we were the only people in the cenotes which made it extra special. Juan was very patient and helped me a lot as i am a nervous swimmer and made me feel safe the whole time. Our cenotes were followed by lunch in a local authentic restaurant which finished the day off perfectly. If you only book one trip when your in mexico then use Absolute Adventure they are Absolutely the best, only wish we discovered them on our first trip

We booked two tours with absolute adventures. Claire was extremely responsive to all our questions before and after booking the tour. Our tour guide, Arturo, was on time, the van was clean, had all needed equipment, and provided us water and snacks. We booked the Tulum ruins, cenote, and snorkeling with sea turtles and the other tour was to las coloradas.

This was a fantastic tour - the best day of our vacation. We were picked up at 6:30 AM from our hotel by our tour guide, Juan. From there we headed straight to Coba. We've heard stories of how hot and crowded it can get there, but we were literally the first car in the parking lot and the first guests through the gates. Two tour buses arrived about 10 minutes behind us, but we were able to stay ahead of them and had the area pretty much to ourselves. All along the way Juan told us about what we were seeing, helped us up and down the pyramid climb, brought along bottles of water, and made the whole trip pleasant and easy. He even took pictures for us.

Group of 4 adults for day trip to Chichen itza, Cenotes swim and lunch and shopping at Valladolid. Arturo and MIsael took great care of us and their insight gave the trip a more authentic feel than we would have had on our own! Very professional and knowledgeable. Starting so early was well worth it to beat the heat and the crowds. Not only did we learn about the Mayan culture but more about Mexico in general. Swimming in the cenotes was a refreshing experience and a beautiful show of nature. The authentic lunch at a local restaurant was delicious and we really appreciated Arturo's recommendations and explanations about the drink options and cuisine. Cool drinks, beer and snacks provided on the van were greatly appreciated. Van was very nice and clean. They even took pictures of us throughout the trip - candid and posed, so it was one less thing we needed to worry about. We would definitely book wtih this company again. Highly recommend. Initially thought was on the expensive side, but once we experienced everything offered - was absolutely worth the cost.

We had a wonderful experience with Clair on our visit to the Coba ruins and Takaha cenote. I cant say enough good things about this company! Clair and our driver were on time and got us to Coba early before the crowds. It was simply amazing to be alone on top of the ruins and really be able to take everything in. Clair also had lots of great historical information and tidbits about the Mayan people and area surrounding Tulum and Coba. We had a delicious lunch before cooling off in a cenote. Start to finish we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend these tours to anyone looking for a fun excursion. It was our favorite day of our Mexican vacation. Thank you so much!

My fiance and I had so much fun on our private tour with Juan as our guide, and Nicholas our driver. We were picked up ontime, were provided breakfast and plenty of cold water and snacks throughout the day. We visited Chichen Itza bright and early before the huge crowds rolled in, then swam in two breathtaking cenotes (Xkeken and Samula) before sitting down to a delicious lunch in Valladolid. We did not have to worry about photography for the day because Juan took care of that! We enjoyed every moment of our tour, we learnt a lot and shared many laughs. I even picked up a few new Spanish slangs! We had a blast and highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico, especially with Juan as a tour guide 🙂

My husband and I had the best time. Our driver and tour guide went above and beyond to make our experience the best. My husband isn’t as mobile as he used to be and our tour guides made it possible for him to thoroughly enjoy. Don’t miss out in the cenote tours.

It was the best trip that I ever had. The guides were nice and great accommodating. They were always on time and they had enough to drink.
