We go at your own pace, taking breaks whenever needed to ensure your comfort.
If you wish, we can also adjust the visit to be shorter or longer depending on your preferences.
Our goal is to make the experience as enjoyable and flexible as possible for you.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for exploring the ruins—tennis shoes are ideal. Light, breathable clothing is also suggested due to the warm weather.
You can safely leave your belongings in the van—our driver stays with it the entire time while you're out enjoying the activities.
After your guided tour of Chichen Itza, you'll have free time to explore more or you own or to shop souvenirs. You can use this time to go to the restaurant on-site.

Great Chichen Itza Express Tour
We had a great tour with Josh as our tour guide and Enrique as our driver. They picked us up promptly at our hotel and we made the 2 1/2 hour drive to Chichen Itza. Josh had our tickets ready for us and we quickly entered the park. The great thing about this tour is that it is early before all of the big tour buses get there. Josh gave us just enough information but did not overload us with details. It was a great tour and I would highly recommend this

Great trip and experience
After using Absolute Adventures for an earlier trip we hired them again due to having such a great experience !
Chichen Itza this time and again picked up very early from our hotel and reached Chichen Itza for opening time to beat the queue and heat.
Again Joshua was our guide and done another first class job taking us around the remarkable and beautiful guy that Chichen Itza is !
No rush, great knowledge and plenty facts about the place.
We were taken round both the new and old parts and given full history of both sections, it is a much bigger site than we expected, but no rush to stroll around and take plenty photos.
On getting collected right outside exit by our driver Omar we saw that the queue of coaches was about a mile long to get in !!!!
Right move to get in early, beat the crowds.
We then went to a beautiful Mexican restaurant in Valladolid on way back, where Joshua accompanied us for lunch and then gave us free time to wander about in town centre.
Thereafter straight back to hotel.
Again another first class experience from Absolute Adventures and guide Joshua.

Fun and Educational
The main reason we travel is to learn and appreciate cultures that are different from ours. Our guide, Juan, provided us with wonderful insights during our visit to Chichén Itzá. He was very passionate about teaching us about the Maya civilization as he competently answered all of our questions. We were never bored, which is quite a feat for a whole day tour. This is one of the best private tours we’ve ever had so many thanks to Juan for making this a very worthwhile use of our vacation time. A Wonderful Private Tour!
We had a marvelous private tour of Chichen Itza with Chris as our guide and Omar as our driver. It was wonderful! They picked us up at 6 AM at our hotel in Playa del Carmen for the 2+ hour drive to Chichen Itza, which was perfect, because we arrived before the site opened and were the first people to enter the site. We were able to take photos before others arrived, so our pics are pristine! There were no crowds at all while we were there touring, although when we left, the big tour buses were arriving, so the timing was perfect! Chris was a wonderful guide, Omar a great driver, and the communication as we were booking the tour was fast and efficient! We love that they were able to do a customized private tour — that’s the way to go! We would absolutely tour with them again!
