Private snorkeling tour to Puerto Morelos. Amazing driver Josué and guide Arturo. Arturo was amazing and helpful. Had everything planned out and did a great job with time. The captain Joaquin of our boat and Arturo, when we became over run with other tours decided to move the boat and get us in a secluded spot to snorkel! Amazing they did that because we went from seeing not much to seeing lots and lots in our new snorkel spot. Our guide Arturo got us hooked up with the best captain Joaquin because when we first arrived on our snorkel spot we were alone then about 10 boats descended on us. Even after we moved more boats followed. We are sure Captain Joaquin is the reason others followed because he knew all the spots and was extremely knowledgeable! Saw tons of fish and the biggest barracuda ever! We are seasoned snokelers but this trip is perfect for novices as well. We were so well taken care of on the boat and while snorkeling! We were able to walk around Puerto Morelos after snorkeling and than along the beach. Arturo and Josué took us to a local restaurant and Arturo suggested the most amazing shrimp tacos. Josué stayed with the van and our stuff which was much appreciated so we didn’t have to take everything along. Claire one of the co-owners and I emailed before since we booked this last minute and she was incredibly helpful and responded immediately to all my questions. We will be recommending her company and her team to all! The private tours they offer are well worth the price and the value in having a personal guide and ability to have your own schedule and day without the crowds or masses deciding how your tour will go is so very very worth the cost! If you are undecided, don’t think about it anymore, just book it! Claire, Arturo, Joaquin and Josué made us feel like VIPs!

We boated out to the Meso American reef from Puerto Morelos to snorkel! Perfect excursion, lots of fish and coral formations! All the people affiliated with this organization is top notch! The guides were knowledgeable, personable and proved to make our choice of using Absolute Adventure an A1 choice!
My wife and I wanted to take a private or small party snorkeling tour and while googling same I came across Absolute Adventures. After reading the mostly 5 star reviews I expected a very good experience. Well, let’s just say I can’t imagine a better one. We did the Puerto Morelos snorkeling tour and had Arturo as our guide. He is way beyond the regular tour guide in local, cultural and snorkel/ dive knowledge.
We did a private snorkeling tour on The Puerto Morelos reef and it was amazing. Our driving was so professional, stayed with our items in the van the whole time, picked us up on time and was perfect. Our guide was over the top great and he took us for a great lunch and had so much knowledge! I will be visiting again and will use Absolute!
We had a great time. Our guide arrived on time and was terrific. Very friendly and answered all our questions about the area. He also had arranged for a fill in to snorkel with us in the water as he was recovering from a cold. The guide that swam with us was great. She explained the reef , the fish and was very eager to share her knowledge with us. A great meal at a local restaurant right on the beach followed and then our ride back to the condo. It was great not having to take care of the details which would’ve been involved doing that type of trip on your own. Also the boat owner that is contracted with Absolute Adventure in the Puerto Morelos area was great too. We wanted a more intimate snorkeling experience and this definitely fit the bill!! We would definitely use them again in a future visit.

We do not offer pickup or drop-off from locations south of Playa del Carmen, including areas like Akumal, Tulum, and beyond.

We provide mandatory life vests, and our guide ensures a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
We go out on a local snorkeling boat, guided by a friendly and experienced crew that’s officially certified by the marine park.
The boat is equipped with a side ladder, making it easy to get back on board after snorkeling.
Turtle sightings are possible but not guaranteed.
During the snorkeling experience, you’ll mostly see beautiful coral formations, schools of tropical fish, and with some luck, a sea turtle or stingray.
If seeing turtles is your main goal, the best place is Akumal, where sightings are nearly guaranteed. Akumal is one of the top spots in the region for swimming with sea turtles in their natural habitat.
Yes. Facilities include clean showers, restrooms, and changing areas at the pier.

We check the weather conditions the afternoon before the tour. If the marine park determines it’s not safe to go out, we’ll contact you to reschedule the tour (based on mutual availability) or proceed with a cancellation and refund of your deposit.
Please note: Only cancellations due to official marine park closure or unsafe conditions decided by us are eligible for a deposit refund. If we determine that conditions are safe and you choose not to join the tour, our standard cancellation policy applies.
You can cancel free of charge or reschedule (subject to availability) up to 24 hours before your tour.
We’re a small team and often fully booked 1–2 weeks in advance, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

Snorkeling Reef 1/2 Day
Did a private boat tour to snorkle off the coast of Puerto Morelos. Juan was our guide. All in all a fun 1/2 day with a personable and attentive guide. The boat can’t get real close to the reef so you have to swim out against the waves. That was intimidating at first but they made me comfortable right away but allowing me to hang onto the ring the boat driver was carrying. We saw WAY more fish on the Cenote tour to a lagoon but thats not their fault! It was super fun and worth the money to do a private tour since we didn’t want to do lunch, shopping… Etc. Most tours include those things. Felt safe at all times. Pick up at hotel was on time!

Joaquin, the boat driver was a confident experienced snorkeller who led the way, pointing out all the beautiful fish and coral. He was so helpful to us. Today we went snorkeling in Puerto Morales with Arturo. We had a group of 9 including two younger children. Everyone enjoyed themselves and saw lots of features including a sting ray! The young ones had no difficulty snorkeling.
Afterwards we went to a really good beachside seafood restaurant and had the most delicious meal of our trip.
Our guide was informative, kind, and was easy to visit with.
Again, we always choose Absolute Adventure. Highly recommend.

Beautiful snorkel. Excellent experience snorkeling the reef at puerto Morelos with Arturo today! The port was unusually busy with a swimming competition, but he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were as comfortable as possible. We loved our private snorkeling tour in Puerto Morelos. This is our second tour with Absolute Adventure and they did a fantastic job both times. It was really convenient that they picked us up from our Air BnB in Playa del Carmen. Having two guides snorkeling with us (thanks Arturo and Arturo!) was invaluable as they helped our kids with their snorkeling gear as we went along. And their knowledge of the animals helped us see so much – lots of fish including barracuda, lion fish, manta rays, albatross and pelicans. Can’t wait to visit Mexico again for more snorkeling with Absolute Adventure!

We did the Reef Snorkeling in Puerto Morelos and it was absolutely wonderful. Booking was easy and someone reached out to me right away to answer any questions. They picked up us at our resort and our van driver was kind and polite. We got on a boat in Puerto Morelos and snorkeled in two wonderful locations. There were no other groups in the locations they took us, and we were able to see so many cool things. The real star of the tour was the staff. Our van driver was awesome, our boat captain was so sweet and funny, our snorkeling guide was helpful and was great at pointing things out we definitely would have missed, and our main guide (Juan) was charismatic, interesting, informative, and just so fun to be around. I have don’t a lot of snorkeling and diving tours all over and the service and team for this tour was probably the best I’ve ever experienced.

Another awesome outing with Arturo today! We snorkeled the protected Natural Park reef in Puerto Morales. Joaquin, our boat captain, was very attentive & informative regarding the area. We saw a moray eel, LARGE barracuda, puffer fish, parrot fish, stingray & gorgeous, protected coral. Lunch was a beachfront “toes in the sand” experience. Get the battered shrimp tacos & tamarind daiquiri!!

First, we are not people who give reviews, however, we are people who read reviews. This was our second trip with Absolute Adventure for my wife and I on a private snorkel and we could not have been more pleased! We were fortunate to have Juan as our guide and he was very personable, friendly, informative, and truly made every effort to ensure our day was everything we had hoped for. Our day was blessed by calm seas that allowed us to spend the majority of our time in the “Garden” where we saw lobsters, a turtle, a huge stingray, and a reef teaming with wildlife every . If your looking for a trip that makes you feel as if you received more than you paid for, this is for you! Absolute Adventure is worth it! We will definately be using them again on our return to Mexico!
